What are the Current Design Trends and Ideas?

There are a couple of different places where you can find tips on the latest trends

YOLO Trend Booklet

In your yearbook pack you will find a handy booklet with tips on what's trending in design in the year ahead. This covers design trends, colour trends and type (font) trends. Check it out!

Adobe Color CC

Head to https://color.adobe.com/ for several handy colour palette tools. 

Under the 'Create' tab, play around with the colour wheel to try out colour combinations, choose from Analogous (a group of related colours that are near each other on the colour wheel), Monochromatic, complementary, and more.

Click on 'Explore' to see hundreds of colour palette examples shared by users around the world.

Click on the camera icon at the top right to upload a photo, and pick various schemes based on that photo.

Dafont.com

This website has hundreds of font examples, categorised by theme or you can search for a particular one by name.

You can type in your own text to see how it would look in that font.

Many of the fonts are free to download and use, but make sure that you check the terms of use.
