Adding Shape Elements

Adding Shape Elements

Adding shapes to your pages can be fun and easy.  You can also customise your shapes as well with our custom tool "Edit Path" which is located at the top of your workstation.  This tool will appear once you have placed the custom shape onto your page.

How to Add Shape Elements to the Page

1. Click on the "Shape" Insert Item.

2. Select from the list of shapes as shown below.

3. Choose which page you would like to insert this item, and either click "Insert Left " or "Insert Right"
4. Continue to edit the size, colour, border, etc. using the "Frame Settings" tools.

Using the Custom Shape

To use the "Edit Path" function add the "Custom" shape onto your page.
Once the "Edit Path" button appears click on it.  (Note: This button only appears once you have your custom shape selected.)
The rest of the page will be greyed out where you will only be able to manipulate the shape alone.
At the top of your workstation you will see the tools necessary for customising your new shape.
  • Exit Path Editor: After you have finished customising your shape click this button to exit the editor.
  • Path Pointer: Select the individual anchor points to manipulate your shape.
  • Add New Path Point: Click this button to add new anchor points to your custom shape to help give it a unique look.
  • Delete Path Point: Click this button to delete any anchor points you wish to remove from your shape.
  • Convert Path Point: Click this button to add a curve to your shape by clicking and dragging the anchor point.
  • Close Path/Open Path: Click this button to open or close your shape paths.
Once you have finished and are satisfied with your custom shape click "Exit Path Editor."
You now have your new custom shape ready to use.
