Filling in a Contributor Form

Filling in a Contributor Form

In your yearbook pack you will have received a contributor form. Use this template to send exactly what you require from your contributors.
This way they will have a clear idea of the number of words and photos that you need for the space that has been allocated, and where it is to be saved or sent to.
It will save you time later in avoiding having too much or too little content and having to go back to the contributor at what is usually a very busy time of year.

Open the contributor form template and save a copy with the contributor or article name in the file name.
Fill in the details. Refer to the second page of the form to work out the number of words and photos that you will need for their article, and where they should save the content, or which email address to use.
Save the form and email it to the contributor, or print out and give it to them if you think that will work better for that person.

You may find it useful to set up a calendar with reminders ahead of the contributor due dates, and then send out email reminders at the following points:
2 weeks before due date, 1 week before, 1 day before, and then every day if the deadline has passed.
